This is our last adventure in Sabtang Island…
When you think of our morning activities, it’s quite tiring that you wake up early to catch the boat and after the boat ride, land excursions were done. We haven’t had any rest as we visited different wonderful villages.
Continuing our journey, from Chavayan, we went back our way and headed to Nakabuang Beach for lunch. It was a 40-minute drive from Chavayan. It’s almost 11am when we left Chavayan so we are expected to arrive in Nakabuang beach before 12 noon.
We were very watchful on our time since we’ll be catching the 2pm last ferry from Sabtang to Ivana. We must take our lunch as early as possible so we can have ample time to enjoy the beach.
Reaching the vicinity, the lunch was ready. We immediately ate our lunch; we had one table ready for us. The food were all good, it’s delicious. Coconut crab was served with chicken adobo, escabeche and sautéed vegetables.
After eating, we didn’t waste any time, automatically changed with our swimming gears. Actually, we only have few minutes left to enjoy the beach but that few minutes didn’t bother us. We still took a dip at the waters and played with the waves. So inviting, so refreshing!
It’s mid-day and the sun was up. Not minding the striking heat, we had fun in the waters of Nakabuang Beach. Aymone didn’t join us in swimming; instead she made fun with my camera. She’s our photographer as well.
With the white pebble sands, calm waves and fresh cool seawater, another gift of nature we’re enjoying. It was the shortest swim we had yet we managed to enjoy it.
One thing we kept on observing was the sky. It’s still blue and no signs of rain coming. We don’t have to worry on our trip back to Ivana. It is said that during rainy season, expect to be stuck at the island for days until it’s good to cross the sea.
