Siem Reap Cambodia

Asian Invasion… Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand

It’s four! and it’s three…

My friends and I used to travel together at least once a year. This was our 4th annual bonding… and we’re taking three countries!

We took off at NAIA Terminal 3 taking Cebu Pacific flight bound for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as our first stop. We had two days full of fun in HCMC.

Boarded a coach from HCMC bound for Siem Reap, Cambodia. We were told that the average travel time was 12 hours but our trip took us 14 hours to reach Siem Reap. It’s unbelievable! With that 14 hours, I still have all the energy after the trip and spent the rest of our night at Pub Street. We booked and stayed in a 4-star Prince D’ Angkor Hotel for two nights. I am so amazed with Angkor Wat and other temples at the Angkot Thom such as Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider). Pub Street was our last stop at the end of the day.

An early morning taxi took us off from Siem Reap to Poipet (border) and took a double decker bus from Thai border to Bangkok for four hours. In Bangkok, we went to a nearby travel agency and booked our tour for the next day. We joined the outside Bangkok tour, we had a wonderful dinner cruise with Chao Phraya Princess II, we’re amazed with Grand Palace and spent the rest of the day shopping in Pratunam before heading to the airport.

It was fun, everyday was a surprise for us!
