When in Brazil particularly in Rio de Janeiro, you must have to plan your visit carefully as there are lots of things to do here. The activities will also depend on the season. Here are some samples of things to do in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Only few out of the many that I did!
Here it is.
1. Beach bumming
– don’t forget to wear your sexy bikinis and stunning trunks.

2. Visit the Christ the Redeemer
– a visit to Rio de Janeiro is not complete without a trip to the Corcovado Mountains to visit the one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, the Statue of Cristo Redentor.
3. Visit the Sugar Loaf Mountan
– another icon in Rio de Janeiro is the Sugar Loaf Mountain, which is a must-visit also.
4. Shopping (for Havaianas)
– this is the kind of flip flops known around the world, you can also buy it anywhere in Brazil at a very reasonable price
5. Eat at Churascaria
– one kind of a restaurant wherein meat carvers are the one’s taking the meat right to your plate, I also have enjoyed the service
6. Do the Samba (I went to Rio in August, I just watched the samba show)
– since I go to Rio de Janeiro in August, obviously not the Carnival. However, they have also theaters featuring Samba Show so we will not miss the Samba when in Brazil
7. Have a glimpse at the Downtown Rio
– the iconic Downtown Rio also have a lot to offer so might as well don’t miss it.
These are basically what I did with my limited time in Rio de Janeiro. My main purpose in coming here was because the Christ the Redeemer. With this, I still manage to enjoy the place. 🙂
