A short drive from the Chapel was the Tukon Radar Station of PAG-ASA. Strategically located at the top-most part of the island, perfect for weather monitoring purposes.
Just outside the Radar Station was the viewing deck which offers panoramic view of the island. On the East side was the Pacific Ocean and on the West side was the West Philippine Sea.
Fundacion Pacita also can be seen from the area. It has a stunning scenery on the North where Mt. Iraya boasts its beauty. The airport also was visible from the viewing deck.
What made this place special? It is because of its location where you can have all the views you want. Just don’t forget to wear sunblock because I’m pretty sure you will forget the sun when you come to this place. To be honest, you cannot feel the heat of the sun also because of the breath of fresh air in the area. You will forget your umbrellas as well. All you have to do is to get out of your van and feel free to appreciate nature in front of you. So help yourself with sunblock.
We’ve been here in the near mid-day so we experienced direct sunlight. I guess this place will be best during sunrise.
