From Savidug, we drove further to the south. There was an on-going road concreting project in the area, soon there will be a better access road going to Chavayan. We drove further until we reached this beautiful landscape, a mountain view near the ocean, a place called Chamantad-Tinian Viewpoint.

We were extravagantly delighted when we got to the place; another paradise reachable by mankind. The view was amazing; it was overlooking the ocean.

Before we went downhill, we’ve got a chance of having a fresh buko juice sold in one of the sheds in the area. Paired with a delicious freshly-cooked camote-cue, such a delectable snack in the morning.

Felt rejuvenated, we rushed down the hill taking pleasure on the vast beauty of nature. One rock beside the cliff attracts me as I would want to have a picture on top of it. Not only me but almost all of us did a pose with it. The nice view also on the cliff where we can see the waves bumping on the rocks and sands.

Not contented on this view, we right away rushed to one part of the hill where we saw a wonderful view of heaven! Such a pleasing cove with white sand, blue waters and perfect ambiance for swimming. It’s like a hidden cove out there because you cannot see it not unless you will come closer.Chamantad-Tinian View 8

On the edge are the rocky hills and stone formations with lush green grass and other vegetation that adds to its astounding magnificence. Awesome panorama of the place is ahead of us. The sky, ocean, the horizon, mountains and the waves are very inviting.

Another portion of Chamantad on the right was a plain grassy area. It can be a nice picnic ground, perfect for camping yet now just a playground for cows and goats around.

The place was so peaceful, far from the busy metropolis, pollution and noise. All you can hear are the sound of the wind blowing, the gushing waves on the shore, the echoes of the cows, the chirping of the birds. What a wonderful gift of nature.
