This is our last activity of the day… Coffee break! Early morning before we took the Faluwa going to Sabtang, Ate Remy told us the location of the famous Honesty Coffee Shop. She told us to drop there after our Sabtang trip. The main landmark of the coffee shop was the Port of Ivana. It’s only a walking distance from there. The store was owned by an old couple. BATANES… Exploring the Heritage Village of Chavayan
Our adventure to one part of the island ends here in Chavayan… Enough of the mesmerizing Chamantad – Tinian View, we drove further going down the quite steep narrow road to the Heritage Village of Chavayan. Immediately, we went to their tourism office for registration. The office was... continue

The adventure continues… When we were called for boarding, we were one of the first to board the Faluwa. We sat at the back of the boat. The boat was fully loaded with passengers and cargoes. Everybody is obliged to wear life vests while cruising. Coastguards are really hands-on for inspection before giving clearance for the boat to sail. Sabtang Island is a 30-45 minute Faluwa boat... continue
