Just after the shelter boat stop, the tour continues…
Few kilometers drive down the road from Boat Shelter Port was the white beach. If you’re not familiar with the place, you will not notice this beach.
There is no clear entrance on the beach; there was no signage as well. We got off our van and walked towards a grassy area. There were lots of coconut trees. It seems like it was a private property.
After a short walk on the property, we found the stretch of white sand beach that’s so inviting. The sand here were mixed of corals and shells; not a fine sand but pebble in size. The waters were so clear. To describe the place, it’s a bit laid back. When you plan for a swim, might as well bring mats and chairs as there’s nothing there but trees and grasses.
It was so refreshing that we immediately plan for a swim after our itinerary for the day. We were hoping we can have the opportunity to come back and swim in the afternoon.
Just my thought why they called it white beach, maybe because in Batan Island, most of the beach sands are black. In this area, maybe it’s because of the pebbles that made it white.
